Tour flexibility

Extra hours policy

The tour duration follows the itinerary stated in the package. Any additional time beyond the scheduled tour duration will incur an extra vehicle charge as follows:

6-seat vehicle: IDR 75,000 per vehicle/hour
14-seat vehicle: IDR 150,000 per vehicle/hour
20-seat vehicle or larger: IDR 250,000 per vehicle/hour

The accompanying tour guide will remain with the group during approved extra hours without a separate guide extension charge. Extra hours are subject to vehicle, driver, and tour guide availability and should be settled directly with the driver at the end of the tour.

  • Rafting operations are subject to weather and river conditions.
  • Sightseeing destinations after rafting are flexible and can be adjusted according to guest preferences.
  • Group Transportation: For groups of 6 guests or more, Agung Journey provides a larger vehicle with a professional driver and a dedicated English- or Korean-speaking Tour Guide to ensure safe transportation, guest comfort, and smooth coordination throughout the tour.

Booking & Confirmation

Booking is subject to availability. Guests are recommended to contact Agung Journey before making any payment so that availability and the applicable booking conditions can be confirmed.

To request a booking, guests are required to provide the lead guest’s English name, contactable phone number, email address, preferred travel date, number of guests, hotel or pickup location, and any relevant special requests.

Agung Journey will check availability with the relevant tour, activity, and service providers included in the package and provide the payment and booking confirmation instructions once availability has been confirmed.

A booking is considered confirmed after the required payment has been received.

After full payment is received, Agung Journey will issue the E-Ticket.

Payment Policy

A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking. The remaining 70% balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the tour date.

Bookings made within 7 days of the tour date require 100% payment at the time of booking, subject to availability.

After full payment is received, Agung Journey will issue the E-Ticket.

Cancellation & Refund

Tour Packages

General cancellation, rescheduling, and refund conditions for eligible non-hotel services booked through Agung Journey.

1. Scope of Application

This policy applies to eligible Tour Packages, Activities, Wellness & Spa services, and Signature Experiences offered by Agung Journey that do not include hotel or villa accommodation or have separate cancellation conditions.

Products subject to specific deposit, cancellation, refund, or rescheduling conditions may be governed by separate terms. Applicable special conditions will be communicated to guests before payment.

This policy should be read together with Agung Journey's Terms & Conditions. The cancellation fee schedule below applies only to bookings covered by this policy and remains subject to any clearly communicated product-specific or supplier conditions. In all cases, cancellation charges, refund eligibility, and any deductions will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and applicable law.

2. Booking Deposit and Payment

A 30% deposit is required to secure a booking.

The remaining 70% balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the scheduled service date.

Bookings made less than 7 days before the scheduled service date require full payment at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation by the Guest

Guests are encouraged to request rescheduling before cancelling a confirmed booking. Rescheduling is subject to availability and confirmation by Agung Journey.

If rescheduling is unavailable or is not accepted by the guest, the applicable cancellation conditions will be considered.

4. Cancellation Fee Schedule

The cancellation fee schedule is based on the total confirmed booking price:

- 7 days or more before the service date: 0% cancellation fee.
- 4–6 days before the service date: 30% cancellation fee.
- 1–3 days before the service date, provided at least 24 hours remain before the confirmed service start time: 50% cancellation fee.
- Less than 24 hours before the confirmed service start time: 100% cancellation fee.

Exactly 24 hours before the confirmed service start time falls under the 50% cancellation fee category.

5. Refund Calculation

Where a refund is due, the applicable cancellation fee will be deducted from the total amount paid by the guest to determine the refund amount.

Agung Journey will inform the guest of the approved refund amount and process it through the applicable payment method.

Payment processing fees will not automatically be deducted from refunds. Any applicable deductions must be communicated in advance and handled in accordance with applicable law.

6. Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and confirmation by Agung Journey. Any applicable price difference or rescheduling conditions will be communicated before the change is confirmed.

If rescheduling cannot be arranged or is not accepted by the guest, the applicable cancellation conditions will apply.

7. Cancellation by Agung Journey

If Agung Journey is unable to provide a confirmed service, the guest will be informed and offered an appropriate alternative or refund in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and law.

8. No-Shows and Unused Services

Failure to attend a confirmed service, late arrival, or choosing not to use a service after it has started may affect refund eligibility in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and law.

9. Exceptional Circumstances

If a service cannot be provided because of severe weather, safety concerns, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, Agung Journey will make reasonable efforts to offer rescheduling or an appropriate alternative. Any refund will be handled in accordance with the circumstances, confirmed booking conditions, and applicable law.

10. Special Product Conditions

Certain products may have specific deposit, cancellation, refund, or rescheduling conditions. These conditions must be clearly communicated to guests before payment and will apply to the relevant booking to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Yes. After rafting, you may choose to visit Ubud Center or Tegenungan Waterfall. Your driver will be happy to adjust the itinerary based on your preference and available time.

What should I wear for rafting ? +

We recommend wearing lightweight clothing suitable for water activities, along with sandals or water shoes. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes for after the rafting experience.

Is this tour suitable for children ? +

Yes. Children are welcome, provided they meet the minimum age and safety requirements set by the rafting operator. Adult supervision is required for younger participants.

Is travel insurance included ? +

The rafting activity includes operator-provided insurance as part of the Sobek rafting package. However, personal travel insurance is not included and is recommended for additional coverage during your holiday.

Can the itinerary be customized ? +

Yes. As this is a private tour, the sightseeing stop after rafting can be adjusted based on your interests, traffic conditions, and the available tour duration.
