Booking & Confirmation
Booking is subject to availability. Guests are recommended to contact Agung Journey before making any payment so that availability and the applicable booking conditions can be confirmed.
To request a booking, guests are required to provide the lead guest’s English name, contactable phone number, email address, preferred activity date and time, number of participants, pickup location if applicable, and any relevant special requests.
Agung Journey will check availability with the relevant activity operator and provide the payment and booking confirmation instructions once availability has been confirmed.
A booking is considered confirmed after the required payment has been received.
After full payment is received, Agung Journey will issue the E-Ticket.
Payment Policy
A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking. The remaining 70% balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the activity date.
Bookings made within 7 days of the activity date require 100% payment at the time of booking, subject to availability and the booking conditions of the activity operator.
If the activity operator has specific payment or booking conditions, the applicable requirements will be confirmed by Agung Journey at the time of booking.
After full payment is received, Agung Journey will issue the E-Ticket.
Cancellation & Refund
Activities
Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling conditions for eligible Activities bookings, including applicable deposit requirements and special product or supplier conditions.
A booking is considered confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received and acknowledged by Agung Journey.
1. Booking Deposit and Payment
A 30% deposit is generally required to secure a booking. The remaining 70% balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the scheduled service date.
Bookings made less than 7 days before the scheduled service date require full payment at the time of booking, unless different conditions have been communicated for the specific product.
2. Cancellation by the Guest
Guests are encouraged to request rescheduling before cancelling a confirmed Activity. Rescheduling is subject to provider approval, availability, any applicable price differences or amendment charges, and confirmation by Agung Journey.
If rescheduling is unavailable or is not accepted by the guest, the applicable cancellation conditions will apply.
3. General Cancellation Fee Schedule
For eligible Activities bookings without separate cancellation conditions, the proposed cancellation fees are calculated from the total confirmed booking price:
- 7 days or more before the service date: 0% cancellation fee.
- 4–6 days before the service date: 30% cancellation fee.
- 1–3 days before the service date: 50% cancellation fee, provided the cancellation request is received at least 24 hours before the confirmed service start time.
- Less than 24 hours before the confirmed service start time: 100% cancellation fee.
Exactly 24 hours before the confirmed service start time falls under the 50% cancellation fee category.
4. Refund Calculation and Processing
Where a refund is due, the applicable cancellation fee will be deducted from the total amount paid by the guest to determine the refund amount.
Agung Journey will inform the guest of the approved refund amount and process it through the applicable payment method.
Payment processing fees will not automatically be deducted from refunds. Any applicable deductions must be communicated in advance and handled in accordance with applicable law.
5. Special Product and Supplier Conditions
Certain Activities may have specific deposit, cancellation, refund, or rescheduling conditions due to ticket restrictions, limited capacity, charter arrangements, promotional rates, or provider requirements.
For example, Bali Safari & Marine Park bookings may be subject to a rescheduling-only arrangement after payment, subject to availability, as communicated for the relevant product.
Bali Exotic Marine Park and WakaSailing Charter bookings may also be subject to specific conditions where applicable. The relevant conditions must be confirmed and clearly communicated to the guest before payment.
Where a specific product condition applies, it will govern the relevant booking to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6. No-Shows, Late Arrivals, and Unused Tickets
No-shows, late arrivals, missed sessions, unused tickets, or activities ended early at the guest's request may affect refund eligibility in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and law.
Guests are responsible for arriving at the confirmed meeting point or pickup location on time.
7. Weather, Safety, and Service Unavailability
If an Activity cannot proceed due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, Agung Journey will make reasonable efforts to explore rescheduling or suitable alternatives with the relevant provider.
If the activity cannot be provided, available remedies will be assessed in accordance with the circumstances, confirmed booking conditions, and applicable law.
8. Cancellation by Agung Journey
If Agung Journey is unable to provide a confirmed Activity, the guest will be informed and offered an appropriate alternative or refund in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and law.
